Have consistently used my teacher blog as the main form of communication with students and parents outside of the classroom. Updated blog frequently with assignment, additional resources, calendars, and messages. Created an esthetically pleasing blog that includes related images and pictures of students.

4. EAGLES incorporated into Science curriculum and Advisory curriculum. Student work sample reflections for their SLC Portfolios were completed on Science assignments.

5. Team Leader for 2st semester and CFG Facilitator. Incorporated CFG principles in facilitating team meetings to support the team decision making process.

5. Served as MS science department head for the 2008/9 school year. Planned and facilitated monthly meetings and Look at Learning sessions. Communicated with Puxi campus department head and helped our department to meet goals and objectives for the year.

b. Developed relationship between out MS and the Roots and Shoots organization and established the MS Roots and Shoots Program.

c. Facilitated the creation of a student designed and planned Organic Garden on campus.

d. Lead field trips for 8th grade science students and for all students in the gardening elective.
